One&Only, Atlantis and Mazagan properties will offer to sanitise luggage on arrival as part of enhanced hygiene protocols.
As part of the new cleanliness measures at the Kerzner brands, each hotel will appoint a dedicated hygiene officer to ensure measures are put in place and standards are met.
Each hotel will appoint a dedicated health, safety and hygiene coordinator who will in turn report directly to a general or managing director.
Resorts will now offer discreet areas where private temperature checking will take place, using thermal cameras and digital infrared thermometers. Guests will also be offered the chance to have their luggage sanitised when they arrive before it is taken to their suite or room. Along with this, they will have a welcome kit with protective gear and sanitising products available to them during their stay.
'Hand on Heart'
One&Only had already introduced a 'Hand on Heart' gesture which aims to great guests 'elegantly, without the need to shake their hand', which is now being implemented across all Kerzner properties. Kerzner said its brands already had strict hygiene protocols, but they were working to ensure there was increased visibility of cleaning for guests.
